തകരാതവർ പിടിച്ചുനിൽക്കണം,
യുദ്ധവും ദുരിതവുമിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ,
മരണഭീതിയിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ.

ഇതത്രേ മനുഷ്യരുടെ കനിവുറ്റ നിയമം.
വെള്ളത്തെയവർ വെളിച്ചമാക്കണം,
സ്വപ്നങ്ങളെയവർ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമാക്കണം,
ശത്രുക്കളെയവർ സഹോദരങ്ങളാക്കണം.

ഇതത്രേ പഴയ നിയമം, പുതിയതുമിത്.
ശിശുഹൃദയത്തിന്റെ ആഴത്തിൽ നിന്ന്
യുക്തിയുടെ ഉയരത്തിലേക്ക്
പൂർണ്ണത സ്വയമാർജ്ജിക്കുന്ന നിയമം.
