സത്യമെനിക്കറിയാം- മറ്റു സത്യങ്ങളൊക്കെ മറന്നേക്കൂ!
ഭൂമിയിലെവിടെയും ഒരാളുമിനി യാതനപ്പെടേണ്ട.
ഇതാ, സന്ധ്യയായി, ഇതാ, രാത്രി തന്നെയായിരിക്കുന്നു.
എന്തിനാണീ തര്‍ക്കങ്ങള്‍ , കവികളേ, കാമുകരേ, പടനായകരേ?


കാറ്റടങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു, മണ്ണിൽ മഞ്ഞു വീണീറനായിരിക്കുന്നു,
ആകാശത്തു നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ ചണ്ഡവാതത്തിനും ശമനമാവും.
വൈകാതെ നാമോരോരുത്തരും മണ്ണിനടിയിലുറക്കമാവും,
അതിനു മുകളിലായിരിക്കെ അന്യോന്യമുറക്കം കെടുത്തിയ നാം.
